The visit was conducted under the guidance and supervision of Dr. J.K. Lakshmi and Ms. Subhashini. The objective of the visit was to observe real-world public health practice in a rural setting.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to observe various services offered at the PHC, including outpatient care, maternal and child health services, immunization programs, and public health initiatives. The PHC staff also briefed the students on record maintenance, disease surveillance, and implementation of national health programs.
