I am a son of primary teacher and farmer who took primary education in Marathi laungauge from Zilla Parishad Primary School, Lakhangaon, Post – Uti, Ta – Ausa, District – Latur, Maharashtra, India. I received M.B.B.S. and M.D. in Preventive and Social Medicine from Government Medical College, Nagpur in 1998. I obtained a Masters in Public Health from the Institute of Tropical Medicine, Antwerp in 2008. I am awarded PhD (Global Health) from Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, UK in 2020 with research done on Human Resource Management.
Dr. Shridhar have 22 years of experience in public health. I have worked with the World Health Organization for six years in the states of Orissa and Bihar and with the government of Maharashtra for two years. At present, I am working with PHFI as a faculty since 2008, initially at the Indian Institute of Public Health, Hyderabad and presently at the Indian Institute of Public Health, Bhubaneswar. I am involved in teaching, research and advocacy specifically in the areas of health systems, human resource management and health policy. I have also contributed to developing and delivering various short term and long term capacity building programs especially for the public health workforce working in the government system.
I believe in connecting research and training with public health practice and democratizing public health systems so as to provide public health services to the people who are in utmost need.

Teaches MPH, PG Diploma in Public Health Management, short courses in Environmental health, Disaster preparedness, Research Methods, Injury prevention & Disability. She is actively involved in student supervision -1 PhD (ongoing), over 45 Masters/ Diploma theses
